wedding related stuff

OK,



So lately, i've been in list making mode (Jon would tell you that i'm always in list making mode, but thats not true! there are 2 modes: list making mode and list execution mode). So, as we can all deduce from a little bit of 9th grade logic, if A, then B. if B then not C; therefore A implies not C. all a long winded dorky way of saying - i haven't been doing anything!



a few things at the top of my to-do: getting the wedding ceremony decorations and music settled, picking out the food (which will be difficult given everyone's strong opinions on the matter), starting a wedding reception tune list, invitations!



what, may you ask has been going on?
-my first 100% OK dental appt
-the annual kitty cat torture session (aka: vet appt) - this year was so bad, it REQUIRED cat nip after
-triathlon training
-weddings! (Matt & Tricia's in Philly & Seth & Jen's in Marcellus)


-VT camping (memorial day) - pics to follow
-Long Island visit for the first time in a LONG time
-5K racing with my mom & family (i beat my best time by 1:30!!!)


now, i just know you're asking: "what is it that you wish were going on?"
-Liz and Jon with Kayla travelling around the world (since this is a dream, I'm traveling with the assumption that everywhere is peaceful AND that air travel is safe for dogs {its not}). stopping in Italy (Capri!!!), greece, UK, France (paris and the south of france), stop off in Porto, Portugal to do some wine tasting, sweeden, switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Montenagro, Turkey, Jordan, India, Cyprus, Eqypt, Kenya, Togo to visit Valerie, then to Mt. everest, china, korea, thailand, Figi & french polenesia, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, south to Argentina, Belize, some islands in the carribbean, then back up to the rockies, yellowstone nat'l park, Grand Teton, Jackson Hole, and everywhere in between that i missed.

- Jon carrying Liz over the threshold of their brand new DREAM home!!! its more square feet than you can keep track of! it has beautiful exposed beams with tall ceilings, a jacuzzi spa tub in the ridiculously spacious master bathroom, a professional kitchen (jon insisted on this becuase he ratoinalizes that food comes out yummier if the oven is more expensive) (Liz doesn't argue because - it only makes sense!!!), nestled onto a hillside overlooking a beautiful Central New York lake (we have waterfront, a bathhouse, a dock, etc - of course!), out back, there is a huge apple orchard in one corner, flanked by the pool (off a safe distance so that squirrels don't fall in), there is a big deck with a huge grill & outdoor entertainment area. and thats just the start really...


but alas, i think it'll be a few more years until these things happen...
