Happy Veteran's Day!

Someone at work sent this around - I just love how they define a veteran. Basically, a bunch of people were sitting around wondering what constituted a veteran, and this is what they came up with:

"A veteran - whether active duty, retired, National Guard or Reserve - is someone who at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to the United States of America for an amount of up to and including their life."

I just thought that is an amazing perspective and reminder of what veterans have done for us as a country & as individuals!
